THE RIGHT WAY
1- When processing fine linen make sure the fabric is 55% damp before introducing it to the mangler (flat ironer).
The result will be crisp wrinkle free linen.
2- Inventory levels should be a minimum par 3 (for in house) and par 5 ( for off premise) laundry. Use your complete
inventory, allowing linen to sit on shelf for at least 48 hours after processing. This will greatly
increase the life span of your linen. |
THE WRONG WAY
1- Do not dry linen completely before you introduce it to the mangler, as this will set the wrinkles into the fabric for life.
2- By using only a portion of your inventory (thinking you are saving money) and not allowing the linen fibers to relax after processing will put
unnecessary wear and tear on the product and greatly reduce the life span of the linen.
